November 2011... my page for a Ltd Edition Calender

Each year I participate in a limited edition calendar swap. 12/13 participants each one makes 12/13 pages of the same month. This year I did November - we had 13 participants because the hostess made our cover which I will load sometime soon.

I used dark brown card stock together with an unfortunately discontinued making memories patterned paper. I over stamped this with my Hampton Art butterfly background set in memories art print brown dye ink.  I also stamped with Versa watermark ink onto the brown card to create a watermark effect.

the images from Darkroom Door I stamped in Vintage photo distress ink by Ranger on cream card. I inked the stamp using my inky roller so as to obtain a nice smooth inking of the stamp.

I used my darkroom door stamps - starting to take a liking in bicycles and cycling... only wish I can actually get on a bike and actually do some cycling, but for the moment I am stamping those cycles as a personal preference...LOL...

I printed the calendar on my regular printer and then used my blending sponges and my distress inks to edge the calendar... it was just too cream to match with the overall feel of the card. I layered everything either onto only dark brown card or both dark brown and baby blue card. layered the calendar on a baby blue and left an extra edge to the right to stamp the month name "November" in memories art print brown ink.

all my calendars in a row.

A close up of some of the wording. I used my distress stickles to distress with wording and finally added a Hero Arts flower with a blue diamante. and to finish I highlighted some of the background butterflies with my Inkssentials Glossy Accents to add some dimension.

hope you all have a wonderful stampendous and creatively inspiring day!
