Kathryn's Cupcake Cake and Card

My daughter Wisaal made this lovely cupcake cake for her friend's birthday... so of course we needed to make a card to match the cake..... I have loaded a picture of the cake as well...it really tastes as good as it looks....

the daisies, butterflies and embellishments are all edible... frosting is like a candy floss frosting... so decadent and a real sugar rush... but sooo delicious!!

Ok... so this is a quickie... I stamped out the Hampton art Cupcake on a long off cut with Brilliance ink and stamped it again 4 times... which I cut out to 3D the cakes... I layered it with another lilac off cut and stamped Happy Birthday in Lilac brilliance ink. The Happy birthday stamp comes from a lovely set of birthday stamps by Hero Arts...

Of course I need by bling.. so I used my all time favourite Glossy Accents and Hero Arts Prism glitter to add some sparkle... finally to finish added a little flourish with some flowers and a strip of pearls to the flourish....

CAS challenge this week at Outlawz

Hello everyone... this week's challenge at Outlawz requires you use stamping rubber stamps, digi images etc.. but yet to keep in CAS (Clean and Simple) take a peek at their site... it sure inspires me... maybe you too can be inspired to stamp... Ok... so I am soo guilty of not using the stamp set yet... even though its probably discontinued on the Hero Arts line... its been waiting for the perfect opportunity to be used...LOL...

I stamped the solid flower in turquoise and overstamped it with the outline in lime green. the sentiment is also from the Hero Arts clear collection stamped in black. A couple of Rhinestones for a bit of bling...
