Hellooo Blog friends....
Phew... where does the time go.... I Can't believe that 2 weeks have passed since I last posted on my blog.... it't not that I haven't been working... I have... solemn promise.. LOL... its just that the time to sit down and actually do this has been in such short supply.
I have been making all of 290 wedding invitations, had a few classes and of course... I also attended a scrapbook class with the wonderful Belinda Basson aka Bella of
Bella's Scrapping Space I will definitely post pics as soon as my project is done... I literally have a million photos and just cannot seem to decide which ones to use on this project....."sigh" indecisive... guess if there are too many... it makes it so much harder to decide.
anyhow.. I am straying off the topic... here are some pics of a recent card class I held here with some very interesting attendees...
Pat and her hubby Mike (who is 80) who joined us - First time stampers.. they were amazing |
Elaine and Sheila... 2 creative and experienced card makers... |
Roshaan also a novice stamper.... looks like Roshaan has caught the stamping bug... |
to the left my daughter Wisaal and her son Aqeel who popped in near the end of class |
Pat and Mike's creations... can you believe they have never made cards before?? |
I just love Tim Holtz techniques... amazing how each persons color combination and creativity differs... |
Embossed background distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink pads butterfly colored with distress ink and of course glittered up |
Amazing color combination... from Pat - I think it was Broken china and Victorian Velvet... loved the soft look she achieved....
Today we used loads of Tim Holtz embossing folders, Die cuts and of course Distress ink and liquid pearls to color.
We also used Hero Arts stamp sets ( CG290 for the flowers on the shaped card and CL106 fantastic flourishes on the tags.. one of my all time favourites.)
the Butterfly is from the Hero Arts range of clear art stamps - think its Ancient Collage set.

Have a stampendous day everyone...
