Hello friendly stampers and scrappers.... I know I have been AWOL... but have been bogged down with things other than crafting... not my favourite past time... but sometimes life gets in the way and playtime has to take a back seat.
I made this card way back in March 2011 and posted it off to America as part of a swap I participated in.... unfortunately it's either taken the looooong scenic route... or completely disappeared off the face of the earth... I finally emailed the intended recipient a copy of the picture... but still hoping that it will eventually arrive.

The centre of the card with the sentiment is a nestibility ( I cant recall the name right this minute.. will update when I remember )- I layered it onto my oval nesties...in Turquoise and white card - stamped in lilac with a background stamp from Paperchain in Johannesburg.... a cool locally manufactured stamp...

The base card is Turquoise which I layered with a scrapbook paper... it was an off cut I had laying around, but it matched perfectly with the lilac, charcoal and turquoise tones of this card.
Top left of card where I added some flat backed pearls - this is one of my new favourite embellishments...

A close up on my flowers. I stamped over the white flower with my all time fav Stamp Hero Arts old french writing.. added some gold chord and small flat backed pearls to the centre of the flowers

My finished card...  oh yes... I also layered some ribbon before attaching my ovals to the base card.
Sentiment is one of my favourite Hero Arts sentiments...

thanks for popping by... I am waiting for my bird ATC swap and Celebrating Women chunky books to be returned.... I can't spoil the surprise for those recipients... but will add them soon.
