Easel Card Tutorial

Hello everyone

Today I would like to share a card I made inspired by Bronwyn Eastley from AddInktive Designs - she comes up with some amazing ideas... so I thought I would create a little tutorial with my measurements in case you wanted to re create this card.

here we go....

Step 1.  I cut my card about 297 x 155mm

Step 2.  Score in half - about 5 7/8"

Step 3. Score 1 1/4" on either side of the card leaving a centre panel of about 3 7/8"

Step 4.  Cut along the score lines on either side until the centre score line

Step 5.  Score the centre panel down the middle to create your centre easel. about 2 7/8"

Step 6.  Glue down the two side panels as shown above.

Step 7.  Fold down centre panel on score line and embellish as desired.

I used FabScraps  Vintage Mannequin C68 005 and Vintage Buttons C68 006 Patterened Paper for my DP

I coloured the image with a mixture of Spectrum Noir and ProMarkers

I added some glossy accents and glitter to the dots on her dress, the circle on the wings and the frosting on the cake.

this is the card folded flat - so it can be posted in a 160x160mm envelope

I added some pearls on the side panels, used a LOTV circle sentiment and some cream roses which I coloured with Victorian Velvet distress ink.

Here is my completed card. I cut out the image with my oval nestibilities and used the petite scallop ovals as a layer. In addition to that, I used my Tim Holtz Distressed Doily Die #667496 and cut out my patterned paper to create the extra layer.

and that't it....

I do hope you'll give this a try... its a different spin on the conventional easel card and quite easy to finish.

until next time....

Remember to........................

Keep it Krafty.....
