A birthday Card for Gail

Hello Everone

Its a bit of a cool and rainy Friday morning in Cape Town... go figure... Monday we were scorching with 36 degrees celcius and today... its cold... so if you come to Cape Town... you need to bring clothes for all sorts of weather... cause you never know what the day will bring... or if you coming from overseas... bring your dollars and pounds and shop for clothes here... its a steal at the current exchange rate!

Back to Krafting business... It was one of my crafting friends birthday this week past... and of course cards are always welcome when its ones birthday...

this was my contribution to Gail's collection this year.

the camera did not pick up the exact color pink... it looks more mauve on the pictures..

Please be kind wrt my coloring... I am still trying to get it just right...- these markers are alot harder to work with than I imagined and of course not using them often enough does make it difficult to start all over again when I do haul them out.

Have a great weekend...

Keep it Krafty.....

  1. I think you are doing fine with your colouring...we used them 20plus years ago at Tech and they weren't easy then either! LOL

i know its a pain, but there was so much spam on my blog.. I thought I would reinstate it...hate the word verification myself.

  3. Hi, Shamela.
...cool over in George as well at the moment; enjoying it after the terribly hot days we had!
Your card is beautiful and your coloring is great. Markers are at this stage on top of my wishlist!!
    Have a lovely Sunday!!

    1. hello my friend... thanks for stopping by... your cards have been amazing too... once you start with those alcohol pens you never look back... I prefer the pro markers and the spectrum noir pens... they are more affordable and i prefer the tip ... not as soft as the copics...
