Hello everyone
Wow...what a great day spent with my crafting friends on Saturday...we had some retail therapy, some eating, gossiping and of course we did some crafting...
As part of our celebrations, i decided to 'spice' things up a bit with a surprise 10 minute card making dash.... Put together a stash of off cuts, embellishments and off we went.
Gee whizz....10 minutes flies by when you Re choosing, designing and putting together a card!
Anyway suffice to say...everyone made a gorgeous card...even our carding newbies...but most of all...we had a huge laugh!
Here is my creation...i just about managed to stamp the butterfly....its a bit skew...but who has time to measure with only 10 minutes...lol...
I will hopefully be able to download the other cards later and will add them to facebook and my blog.
Have a great week further...and remember to.....
Keep it Krafty....

Outlawz Cas 17 March and CAS(E) this Sketch # 19
Hello fellow Stampers and Cardmakers
My friend Lynn as you know is guest designer at the Outlawz ( http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/sundayscleanandsimplecas/forum/topics/cas-challenge-march-17-2013) for the month of March. Despite time constraints this week, i managed to squeeze out a card for her challenge this week. I loved the CAS(E) sketch
( http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2013/03/case-this-sketch-19.html) for this week also so i decided to combine the two.
Simple white card with embossed white 3d layer and die cut with spellbinders think its Fleur de Lis rectangle. Stamped Hero Arts flower on white scrap, colored with spectrum noir and pro marker pens and added glossy accents and glitter. Oh yes, the background of the image looked a bit bare, so i stamped Hero Arts word stamp in antique linen for a subtle background. My all time favorite tip to fill up blank spaces without being too 'there'.
Have a great stamping day and remember.....to....
Keep it Krafty.....

A birthday Card for Gail
Hello Everone
Its a bit of a cool and rainy Friday morning in Cape Town... go figure... Monday we were scorching with 36 degrees celcius and today... its cold... so if you come to Cape Town... you need to bring clothes for all sorts of weather... cause you never know what the day will bring... or if you coming from overseas... bring your dollars and pounds and shop for clothes here... its a steal at the current exchange rate!
Back to Krafting business... It was one of my crafting friends birthday this week past... and of course cards are always welcome when its ones birthday...
this was my contribution to Gail's collection this year.
Please be kind wrt my coloring... I am still trying to get it just right...- these markers are alot harder to work with than I imagined and of course not using them often enough does make it difficult to start all over again when I do haul them out.
Have a great weekend...
Keep it Krafty.....

Sewing Room Die easel birthday card
Hello everyone
Its been a busy few days...and yesterday the weather was well into the 30's so i was feeling like a deflating balloon most of the day..lol...never the less...i have been productive
I have quite a few birthday cards to make this month...here is the first one which has already been delivered to the recipient.
I used some tissue paper and attached it to the card using modge podge. Added double sided tape to both sides of my chip board, to adhere my paper/ card and then cut it with my big shot. This way, you don't have to struggle to line up the paper when you attach....just cut them all in one go.
I dressed up the dressmakers dummy with some tuille, ribbon, and flowers and added a sentiment to finish.
Hope you have a great week further.
Don't forget....to.....Keep it crafty......
